Our Story

Founded in 2014 by a couple who sold everything to travel America full-time in an RV, BestRV was born from a simple frustration: finding reliable, honest information about RV rentals and campgrounds was nearly impossible.

After spending weeks researching our first RV rental and being disappointed by the lack of transparency, we decided to create the resource we wished had existed. What started as a personal blog documenting our experiences quickly grew into a comprehensive platform helping hundreds of thousands of travelers every year.

We personally rent, drive, and stay in the RVs we review. Every campground review comes from an actual stay, not just a website visit. We spend a minimum of 2-3 days at each location to fully assess the experience.

For RV rentals, we inspect: mechanical systems, safety features, cleanliness, amenities, ease of use, customer service, and value for money. For campgrounds, we evaluate: site quality, facilities, amenities, location, noise levels, and overall atmosphere.

We take hundreds of original photos showing the real condition of RVs and campgrounds. No stock photos, no marketing images - just honest visual documentation of what you'll actually experience.
